Besides Sri SPB , Sri.Kishore kumar is a big influence in
whatever little I have been trying to sing. Range of emotions
that he presented in his songsis one thing that touched me
and at one time back in college I knew lyrics of almost
60-70 of his songs.
During my scool days around 1987 is when I was exposed to lot of
Hindi music through Radio Cylon,VIvidBharathi, BhooleBisle Geeth,
and Chitrahaar & Rangoli on TV, thanks to my father who had this
habbit of tuning to Cylone station in the morning at 4am..!!
Thats probably when inadvertently I started my inclination towards
music and Kishore Kumar was the one that got my interest glued to.
I used to render line of O Sathire and used to feel like Kishore
myself...:)

the great Mohd. Rafi's songs. But as a singer
I am trying to increase my range and the variety
of songs I could sing.. Hence this effort.

movie.

LInes... Roja mokkalu naati praanam neeruga posi pooyincha nee
jada kosam... etc.. is fantastic... and some of the Sangathis
SPB has sung are pleasure to ears. He never misses out any
oppurtunity to improvise a sangthi ...., MSV school of music...

in the movie.

OUt of the songs SPB has sung for the hero
Ranganath, this one is out of the world alongside
Mallelu Poose from IntintiRamayanam again
by Rajan Nagendra.

This is one of the zillions of my favorites from IR/SPB combination.
Such a haunting melody. SPBs voice is so fresh in this song and the
gamakas that he sings in both chararams on the high pitch with each
note clearly audible is incredible. Starting music of the song with
the chirping of the birds is an awesome imaginatiion by Raja sir.

great soft rendition by SPB.. Perfect example for voice control
in high pitch singing.
